Maegan Jensen is scheduled to be induced on Monday, May 5th.  Her visiting teachers are coordinating meals on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7&8.  If you would like to help with a meal, please contact Laura at 243-277 or Erin at 204-8989.

Planting Seeds Thank YOU

Thanks to all who attended our HFPE Meeting on Tuesday night.  We are especially grateful to all who helped plan or participate in the meeting and especially to all who brought a friend or called a friend to remind them.  It was great to see so many of you arrive together!

HFPE Meetings for 2008

We have set dates for all the Home, Family, and Personal Enrichment meetings that will be held in 2008.  Remember that these meetings are official Relief Society Meetings, as important to attend as our Sunday RS Meetings.  For some of you, these are the only official Relief Society Meeting you may be able to attend all year due to your calling.  We are passing out sickers for you to put on your calendar for each date-- please plan to attend!

The dates are listed in dark green to the left in the side bar for your continual reference.

July 29th at 6:30

September 27th at 5:30

and December 2nd at 6:30

Second Tuesdays are for Enrichment Activites

We have decided to continue holding a variety of HFPE activities on the second Tuesday of each month.  Keep this day in mind as you plan your schedule and try and reserve the date each month.  There should be more than one activity happening each month on that day-- so there is sure to be something you are interested in.  Please talk to Sister Wheeler or Jaimeson for information about what is happening each month or if you would like to request or plan an activity.

Square Foot Gardening Kick-Off!

Sister Wheeler and Jamieson have begun putting in Square foot gardens! If you are signed up to participate in this activity, please remember that you owe Sister Wheeler $30. Also, she is trying to schedule days that a few sisters can all do their gardens at the same time. She needs your help to make this work. Please plan to meet with her at your home to put your garden in and then travel with her to help another sister or two do theirs. She has put an AMAZING amount of time and work into this project, please show your gratitude by making it easy for her to help you. Here are some shots from her first garden rounds.
